Muppets with tiny pupils are majorly freaking us out

In case you’ve run out of material to induce bone-chilling nightmares, here’s something that will (probably) terrify you until eternity: Muppets with miniature pupils. Is there an explanation for this haunting makeover? Nope. Over at Buzzfeed, brilliant artist Loryn Brantz shrank the pupils of unsuspecting cartoon victims such as Elmo, Kermit the Frog, Fozzie, Gonzo, and even Miss Piggy. For sheer fun terror.

The result is a bunch of perma-stunned Muppets who kind of look like they’ve witnessed a volcanic eruption. Or a sale at J. Crew. Both of which are equally scary, TBH.
