Munchkin the dog has gone full Ewok — and it’s as adorable as you’d expect

Meet Munchkin! Munchkin is a Shih Tzu. I know. I know. She looks so much like a teddy bear that it’s almost hard to believe she’s a dog. Her pet mom originally made Munchkin’s bear suit (from a real, hollowed out teddy bear) for Halloween in 2014. Then a video of Munchkin dressed for Halloween hit the Internet, and she became instantly famous. Because who doesn’t love a dog that looks like a bear?
Of course, with fame comes responsibility. In this case, responsibility means continuing to dress as a bear and make our hearts melt on a regular basis. In the FAQ section of Muchkin’s Facebook page (which of course she has because people have lots of questions for teddy bear dogs), she says she continues to wear her bear suit because “it makes people happy, and I love making people happy!”
That’s a pretty good reason, Munchkin!
It probably won’t come as a surprise that Munchkin, in all her fuzzy adorableness, has been compared to the ewoks from Star Wars. We think Munchkin might have a slight (gigantic, actually) advantage in the cuteness department, but the resemblance is definitely there. To refresh your memory, here’s an actual ewok:
