We have so much ‘Avengers’ news, we can’t handle it all
After what feels like an eternity of waiting, we are finally in the Avengers: Age of Ultron home stretch. In fifteen days (I’m taking into account the midnight shows on April 30th), all our friends are back: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, and Maria Hill. Oh, they’ve also got some new friends with them too, like baddies Ultron, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision (AND HOPEFULLY LOKI, TOO). Are you excited? I’m excited.
The Avengers team is currently in the middle of the Age of Ultron press tour, and so many amazing things have come out of it. If you haven’t been following along with every single Avengers update, don’t worry. Here are the BEST things that happened this week:
We’re suffering from serious FOMO with the Avengers premiere
The Avengers: Age of Ultron premiered Monday night at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood. Even though we all couldn’t attend, there was a live-stream of the event, which was almost as good as the real thing.
There’s a NEW CLIP FROM THE MOVIE!
Feel like watching an extended Ultron clip? Even better, this one actually features Ultron. We’ve seen him before in the trailers and on posters, but this is the first time we actually see him truly interacting with Iron Man, Thor and Cap. He’s also got the new kids with him, too: twins Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. They’re all here to mess stuff up.
There’s also a clip of Iron Man vs. Hulk

If you watched the MTV Movie awards this past weekend, you saw the clip premiere live. Now if you want to watch it again and again until May 1st, you can. The Hulk is so strong and powerful, Iron Man had to create a special suit just to fight him. Already very stressed about this fight.
RDJ is having a little too much fun
Honestly, it’s hard to tell where Robert Downey Jr. ends and Tony Stark begins. He joined Instagram yesterday and his first picture was a group shot before the whole gang went on Jimmy Kimmel. He’s also uploaded a video taken just before the movie premiere, where he enters on stage blowing kisses to the crowd. Yeah, that’s something Iron Man would do, too.
And he’s setting the stage for Civil War
Now that you’re following RDJ on Instagram, go and follow him on Twitter, too. He’s been blowing up our feeds with pictures of this press tour, and he seems to be making a lot of jokes at Chris Evans’ expense. Just playful banter, or is he totally hinting at what’s to come in Captain America: Civil War? Yes, yes, and more YAAAAASSSS.
Oh, and the Avengers battled Family Feud-style on Jimmy Kimmel last night! JUST WATCH.
We’re so close. So close. May 1st can’t get here soon enough.
