MTV just released the trailer for Season 8 of “Teen Mom 2,” and it looks incredible
We just can’t quit the girls from the Teen Mom franchise. That’s why it’s always pretty interesting when MTV releases brand new footage. While Teen Mom OG is currently wrapping up, Teen Mom 2 just debuted a new trailer for their eighth season.
Teen Mom 2 follows the stories of Jenelle Evans, Chelsea DeBoer, Kailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer, as they navigate through motherhood while dealing with other obstacles that life has brought. While they’re no longer teens, they’re definitely still well known for their early start on parenthood, and their experiences with learning a few important lessons about birth control.
As expected, the trailer makes us want this season to start ASAP. (Unfortunately, we have to wait until January 2nd.)
It looks like things will be especially crazy with Lowry and her soon-to-be-ex husband, Javi.
"We’re getting divorced, period, point blank! Lowry openly states in the video. "It’s not like we were this happy couple"
And, it seems like there’s still some tension between a pregnant Evans and her mother. But that’s to be expected at this point.
Also? There’s another baby on the way for DeBoer, once known better as Chelsea Houska. DeBoer just celebrated a wedding, and the shock of the positive pregnancy test in the trailer is pretty adorable. It’s nice to see that her past year looks like it’s had a lot of positive moments. (Pregnancy test pun unintended.)
Whether you love or hate the show, it’s pretty impressive that MTV has been following these girls for so many years. It’s simply amazing to see the young babies we saw at birth during the second season of 16 & Pregnant turn into such smart, incredible children. We know this season will be one of their most memorable.
