Neel Sethi, who played Mowgli, is too adorable as he talks about filming “The Jungle Book”
The Jungle Book, the epic live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated film of the same name, was released this spring to many rave reviews about the gorgeous visual effects. The film featured animals that were created and animated digitally, so Mowgli, played by Neel Sethi, was the only real actor in the movie, so he had to stretch his imagination.
Check out Neel adorably explaining how he used his imagination while filming The Jungle Book in this video by Oh My Disney.

“I got to run and jump onto a pile of squishy pads,” he says. And it sounds like Neel got his description right on.
Look at this behind-the-scenes photo of Neel acting on a blue screen stage.
Neel even had to envision riding a talking bear down a river.
‘There would just be a regular man in a whole blue suit, and they would just paint in a panther.” Or in this case, a bear!
Look at Neel with director Jon Favreau trying to visualize this whole world.
“That literally just became an everyday thing for me. It’s second nature.” Well, we’re pretty impressed, Neel, because we’re not sure our imaginations are that strong.
We found it too adorbs that Neel was just as impressed with the final film as we were.
“When I saw the trailer and I saw some scenes, I was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s real!’” You’ve got that right, Neel!
