The Sweetest Thing
This 2002 comedy is just what the doctor ordered. Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate, and Selma Blair are hilarious together and will have you and your ladies laughing along the entire time. Watch as the main character Christina and her bestie, Courtney, take a wild and crazy road trip to find a missed opportunity in love. Even though this movie is based around romance, it’s really more about the friendships between these incredible ladies.
The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants
Round up your girlfriends and watch this 2005 dramedy. You don’t have to be into jeans to love this film, you just have to love watching four unique and beautiful girls find their way in life, while still maintaining their friendship. The part that warms everybody’s hearts is that Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, and Blake Lively became so close on set that they are all still very close friends to this day. Those jeans really must have been magical!
Spice World
Let this ’97 movie bring out the girl power in you. Yes, it’s a little corny, but don’t let that stop you from letting those five lovely ladies into your heart and onto your TV (and, honestly, who cares if it’s corny?! It’s the Spice Girls!). If you’re not drawn in by the fashion, hairstyles, or those enormous platform shoes, then watch it for the quirkiness of it all. These two characters show audiences what it’s like to be a female in society: it shows us the good, the bad, and the ugly. We watch them take power back into their own hands, but the most beautiful part about this movie is the love and friendship between Thelma and Louise, obviously.

Grab your girlfriends and grab the tissues — you’re going to need them. This tearjerker will have you holding on tight to your bestie. Beaches shows us a friendship that stands the test of time. We witness their lives unfold and their friendship as well. Even though men come in and out of their lives, it’s really the love story between the two main characters that captivates us the most.
Clueless
You think I would forget to add this movie to the list? As if. This ‘90s cult classic is a definite must-watch with the ladies. Watch Cher and Dion try to help out the newcomer in school, Tai. Even though Cher might be a “virgin who can’t drive,” she always comes out on top (with perfect hair). Her friendships remain strong at the end of the day, no matter how much drama happens. And, most importantly, who can forget Cher’s totally perfect closet?
Bridesmaids
This Kristen Wiig comedy will have you and your BFFs laughing all night long. Watch as Annie struggles with finding herself as her best friend Lilian is moving on. These bridesmaids couldn’t be more different, and we love them for it. Through their outrageous escapades and craziness (i.e.. food poisoning and all that implies), they find a way to love both themselves and each other.
