What was the most popular Starbucks holiday drink in YOUR state?

As the end of the holiday season rapidly approaches, let us not forget this year’s MVP of all things holiday: Starbucks. Starbucks is arguably the holiday winner every year thanks to the sugary, festive drinks it serves up year after year. And let’s face it — the holiday season doesn’t begin until Starbucks releases the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

But with all the drama that was stirred up this year by some Starbucks fans who were absolutely outraged by their favorite coffee retailer’s decision to use plain red cups as holiday cups (you know, instead of cups that have snowflakes, reindeer or various other images that inform customers that it is, in fact, the holidays), Starbucks came out of that mess one step ahead. It continued serving festively delicious holiday beverages in the red doodling cups, and based on how life works, probably sold way more beverages this season than they would have without the controversy.

Since Starbucks has so many holiday options to choose from, it’s no surprise that not everyone agrees on one favorite beverage. And apparently, your favorite beverage has a lot to do with your physical location.

So before everyone moves on to the spring flavors, Starbucks has shared its most popular holiday drinks in the U.S. by region. Find out if your fave wintery drink is in line with the rest of your state’s ultimate fave.

If you live in Nevada, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, Montana or New Mexico, the Pumpkin Spice Latte has held on to the number one spot since it made it’s appearance in September.

The Eggnog Latte is the drink of choice in the Pacific Northwest, because they clearly know what Christmas is about (it’s about delicious eggnog).

The holiday spice version of the flat white is the most popular drink in the Northeast, while people in Florida tend to enjoy cold drinks (duh) like the Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino. Californians are apparently super into iced holiday beverages as well, naturally.

Folks in Texas love the Chestnut Praline Latte, while midwesterners are all about the Caramel Brulée Latte.

Mid Atlantic and southeastern states can’t get enough of the Gingerbread latte, because obviously few things are better than cookie flavored drinks.

Basically, people in the US of A are all about that holiday Starbucks life. ‘Til next year!
