Moschino launched a makeup collection with K-beauty favorite Tonymoly
The K-beauty brand Tonymoly is bringing high-fashion to its latest makeup collection.
The popular cosmetics company collaborated with none other than Moschino on a flashy and fabulous line of lipsticks, eye liners, palettes, and more. While this isn’t Moschino’s first makeup rodeo (the fashion powerhouse launched a collection with Sephora in the past, and its creative director, Jeremy Scott, collaborated with MAC), this is the first time the brand has created K-beauty products.
In keeping with Moschino’s ostentatious style, each package features unique designs that are both gaudy and vibrant. Whether it’s a splash of color or one of the kitschy prints the brand does so well, one thing is for sure: you won’t find products like this anywhere else. The collection ranges from $15 to $77.
Of course, the Tonymoly x Moschino line includes a few of the compacts K-beauty is known for. You’ll find the Gold Edition Chic Skin Cushion ($66), a lightweight cushion foundation, and the Chic Skin Essence Compact ($56), which appears to be a cushion foundation infused with skin care and SPF. The only downside to these products is that there are only two shades available, and each one is in the fair-to-light category.
As for the rest of the collection, you’ll find a variety of red and pink lipsticks—which also come in a lip tint formula—retailing for $15-$23. The most exciting products have to be the eye palettes: the Super Veam Eye Palette Duo ($71) and the Soft Glam Eye Palette ($77).
The soft glam palette comes in two shades, and each package looks like a mini clutch. The eye palette duo also comes with a detachable phone case.
