A mom thought her teen daughter had drugs in her desk, hilarity ensues

Ashley Banks just needed to ask her mom to mail a calculator for her. . . but she didn’t expect her mom to find her “secret stash” that’s got the entire Internet in stitches. false

Ashley’s viral tweet has four screenshots of a conversation with her mom after Ashley had asked her to put a calculator in the mailbox for her. However, when her mom searched her desk, she found a baggy of neon capsules and assumed the worst.

Sending her a picture of the capsules, Ashley’s mom texted her, “Ashley Carol, I will not have drugs in my house. Come home right now. As soon as your dad comes home from California we will discuss your consequences. As for now [you’re] grounded and you will not be leaving the house, [sic] come home this instant.”

Fortunately, Ashley was cool-as-a-cucumber in her response.

Ashley immediately found this hilarious and instructed her to put them in water. Confused, her mom complied. . . only to find that the “drugs” are actually just “magic grow” capsules that turn into little shapes — in this case, dinosaurs.

Hey, seems like Ashley’s mom was just trying to do her job! She seemed pretty relieved. . . but she couldn’t help but ask why her 16-year-old daughter would buy them. To which we say, why *wouldn’t* she buy them? (You can get your magic grow capsules here, ICYWW — because we totally want to.)
