This mom accidentally sent her son to school in a (hilariously) vulgar T-shirt

Mom life is HARD. So let’s all just remember that before we get too up-in-arms about this doozy of a story, okay?  Shelly McCullar of Texas recently sent her nine-year-old son Anthony to school in a particularly, uh, salacious shirt. However, she quickly clarified that she had NO IDEA the shirt was inappropriate when she sent him off that day.

In an April 4th Facebook post she wrote, “Once again, my sincere apologies to the teachers and staff at Travis Elementary. I promise from now on to monitor what my kids are wearing! I had no idea Anthony wore this to school!!”

"Just to clarify, I would never let my kid wear something like this," she continued. "A friend had given me some hand me down clothes for Anthony. I haven’t had the chance to completely go through them. I will tonight though!!"

The good news is it seems as though no one at school noticed the shirt either, and Anthony didn’t get in trouble for the honest mistake. As for the friend who gave the family the bag of clothes? He, too, hadn’t noticed the scandalous logo either.

“He actually had been given the clothes by one of his family members for his boys,” McCullar told Yahoo News. “After his sons picked out what they wanted, he asked if I would like to have what was left. And being a single mom, I’m always thankful to receive hand-me-downs of good quality. But no, he was not aware of the shirt, and he has been very apologetic.”

This is a solid reminder that accidents happen, and sometimes we just have to roll with the (hilarious, X-rated) punches.
