Ladies and gentlemen, welcome the ‘Mockingjay 2’ trailer!

We’ve already invested three years and as many movies in the film adaptations of the gripping (and hugely-popular) YA series The Hunger Games. This November, the epic (and between Games, the arenas, and the rebellion to overthrow a dystopian government, “epic” is definitely the appropriate word to use) series comes to an end with the final installment, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2.

This year’s Comic-Con festivities included plenty to fangirl about, not the least of which was the premiere of the latest Mockingjay — Part 2 trailer. Of course, that was awesome for the hundreds of lucky fans who got to see it at Comic-Con, but it was mostly just torture for the rest of us, who had to scroll through tweets and blog posts about how amazing it was, all without really getting to see it (at least not in its full, high-quality glory).

The Capitol-esque torture ends today though because Lionsgate has released the trailer for all to see (and we’ve seen it over and over on loop since it went live on YouTube).

So what does the final installment in the Hunger Games film series have in store for us? Well, there’s a lot of action, of course (to slow the advance of the rebellion, the government has turned the Capitol itself into a makeshift arena, full of traps meant to stop, ensnare or even kill the soldiers from District 13). There’s also, appropriately, some hardcore Mockingjay action. Katniss (played by Jennifer Lawrence with all of the intensity you’d expect) has finally embraced her role as the face of the rebellion and set her sights on taking out President Snow.

Chills. We have chills just thinking about it. Watch the trailer for yourself and we suggest watching it a few times, in fullscreen, to catch all the little flashes of scenes that give major hints about which moments from the book are getting the big screen treatment.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 hits theaters on November 20.
