M&M’s just announced the new flavor it’s releasing for Halloween

We aren’t trying to speed up the end of summer, but news happens when it happens. In today’s news, Halloween-inspired Oreo M&M’s are now a thing, so apparently Halloween season has begun. Which, tbh, we’re not mad about. It’s almost September, after all.

Junk food review site JunkBanter informed us that Cookies and Screeem M&M’s are currently on sale at Target (which might mean Target already has its iconic Halloween section up and running?!). The newest flavor of M&M’s features a white chocolate center in a dark chocolate coating. The speckled outer shell is supposed to look like cookies and cream, but it sort of has an intergalactic vibe.

Either way, they sound delicious. And they’re super unique-looking, so that’s fun.

The only thing that would make the new Halloween M&M’s even spookier is if they were glow-in-the-dark. But is glow-in-the-dark edible? Probably not.

JunkBanter noted that M&M’s has attempted a similar flavor before with their milk and white chocolate Easter Sundae M&M’s, and milk and dark Double Chocolate M&M’s. The company will also be releasing Triple Chocolate M&M’s this winter, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

While October 31st is still a couple of months away, we all know that Halloween is kind of like Christmas, in that it’s a season all in itself and lasts for months. But if you’re still hanging onto summer, that’s fine too. More M&M’s for us!
