Miranda Kerr’s hairstylist revealed how long it took to create her wedding updo
We’re still getting a bunch of fun details about Miranda Kerr’s May wedding, and we’re not complaining. After all, the event looked magnificent. Of course, Kerr shined like no other in her bridalwear. According to a video from Vogue, she admitted that her style icon for the big event was none other than Grace Kelly.
Kerr married Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, and from the photos we’ve seen, the two are pretty obviously in love. But, besides the dress, the sweet location (her own backyard in Brentwood, California!) and the loving glances the couple gave, we couldn’t help but pay attention to her hair.
The look is absolutely classic, and the perfect style to go with her dress.
And according to her hairstylist, Ericka Verrett, it only took 15 minutes to complete.
"It's super important for brides to choose wisely in the hair/makeup department," Verrett said to E! News. "How many times have people looked back on their photos and wished they'd chose something simple? Decisions like that can make or break your special day!"
Verrett has had a bit of practice with the look, since Kerr has worn her hair in a similar sleek bun for a few events in the past — notably, the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
"We've done this style many times and it works with everything. It's elegant, chic and timeless—and, she is all of those things," Verrett added.
We wish Miranda Kerr nothing but the best in her marriage, and have to admit — we might be stealing her signature classy style for our next big event.
