Miranda Kerr’s Reaction to Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s New Baby Is Exes Goals

Baby Daisy Dove Bloom is here, and her famous parents aren’t the only ones happy about it — her dad’s famous ex is excited, too. After Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced that they’d welcomed their daughter, Daisy, on August 26th, Bloom’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr commented on his Instagram post congratulating them. 

“???? I’m so happy for you guys. Can’t wait to meet her ????,” Kerr wrote on Bloom’s Instagram, as reported by People. Bloom and Kerr were married from 2010 to 2013 and have a son together, 9-year-old Flynn. 

Kerr’s comment is written under a post showing Bloom and Perry holding little Daisy’s hand. Bloom re-posted the Instagram from the UNICEF account, which is where he and Perry first announced their new baby.

Both the actor and pop star are UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors and, by announcing the birth on the organization’s account, they were able to draw attention to the issue of preventable mother and newborn fatalities in communities where there is a lack of healthcare. This is something UNICEF is working to combat.

This is not the first time Kerr has shown her support for Perry and Bloom on Instagram.

Back in May, Kerr commented on a photo Perry posted of herself wearing a silver dress. “Gorgeous mama,” the model wrote in response, according to Marie Claire. 

In addition, Kerr’s husband, Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel, has spoken about helping raise Flynn and his wife’s admirable co-parenting. “What I saw from Miranda and Orlando was very different from what I experienced,” Spiegel told WSJ. Magazine, comparing them to his own parents’ divorce. He added, “I am in no way a replacement for Flynn’s dad. I feel like [I’m part of] Team Flynn.” Kerr and Spiegel also have two children together, 2-year-old Hart and a baby named Myles. 

As you can see, this is just one big group of thrilled exes, parents, co-parents, and kids. What a great welcome into the world for Daisy.
