The ‘Minions’ trailer is all the cuteness overload we could have dreamed of

What is it that Agnes says when she hugs her stuffed unicorn? “It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!” That’s how we feel about the new Despicable Me trailer for Minions that just hit the web. Gone are Gru and his girls, but instead we get three adorable little minions — Bob, Stuart and Kevin — who are off on their own little adventure. The events in the movie take place before Despicable Me (and then of course Despicable Me 2) so call it, like, a Minion origin story.

These little yellow guys are on a quest to find a new master, because their old masters meet all sorts of awful fates, like poor Dracula. But Kevin’s got a good idea, and the gang sets out of New York in 1968 to find the most despicable master around. If that’s not enough to get you excited for the movie — which will hit theaters on July 10th, 2015 — it’s got a cast of Jon Hamm, Sandra Bullock, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, and Steve Coogan. The trailer makes me laugh more and more each time I watch it. Stuart is going to eat a banana! OK, I’ll stop. Just watch it.
