Mindy Kaling’s Met Gala handbag is straight up magical
Mindy Kaling is wearing a gorg Tory Burch gown at the Met Gala tonight and is looking so ethereal and angelic, we had to do a double-take. We’ve grown quite accustomed to seeing Kaling dressed in vibrant colors and jewel tones, so spotting her decked out in glittering white caught us totally off-guard. Even though, in fairness, Kaling did give us a heads-up on Instagram earlier today.
This afternoon, Kaling shared a designer sketch of her gown, which of course is lovely…
But TBH the photo’s caption is what really got our attention. Kaling wrote, “A sketch of my gown! Plus I’m wearing the coolest clutch from the legit future.” Hmm. Color us intrigued.
That’s some big talk for a handbag, but guess what guys, she was not even exaggerating. Kaling’s bag is straight-up magical. The rectangular clutch is completely covered in Swarovski crystals that CHANGE COLOR. Not only is it totally cool, it’s also perfect for the Met Gala’s theme this year, which is “Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology.”
