Milo Ventimiglia supporting his “This Is Us” costars will make your Golden Globes morning

Despite all of those push-ups he did just to prove to baby Randall that he loved him, Milo Ventimiglia did not — I repeat, did not — receive a Golden Globes nomination for playing patriarch Jack Pearson on NBC’s hit This Is Us on Monday (December 12). You know, because 2016 is a monster and perfect shoulders and an epic mustache get you nothing these days.

However, This Is Us did pick up a nom for Best Television Series — Drama, and Ventimiglia’s onscreen wife, Mandy Moore, and onscreen adult daughter, Chrissy Metz, both were nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Sterling K. Brown, who plays adult Randall, was of course nominated (again) for his star-making turn as Chris Darden in The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, a role that won him a Critics’ Choice Award Sunday night and an Emmy earlier this fall.

That pretty much just leaves out poor, sweet, lovable dumb-dumb Kevin (Justin Hartley) as well as Ventimiglia from the nominee pool … but since Ventimiglia is a gem and the ultimate cheerleader, he was just as excited for his IRL “Big Three” (minus Kevin, plus Rebecca) as he probably would have been for himself. false false false

Stop. IT!

This isn’t the first time Ventimiglia has gushed over his costars, of course. The dude’s Twitter account is basically an adorable, dad-joke-heavy compliment machine; one that revs up every single week when a new episode of This Is Us hits the airwaves. It may not be giving us Parenthood-levels of feels yet, but if Ventimiglia and his squad of lovable costars continue down this path, we might be saying “Adam Braverman who?” by Season 2.

… But until then, at least we’ll always have this precious, precious GIF we do not deserve to hold us over. And we will always stan the gift that is Milo Ventimiglia.
