Milo Ventimiglia said he wished Mandy Moore’s fiancé had asked him for her hand in marriage
Well, it’s officially official — Mandy Moore admitted she was engaged during a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. But that doesn’t mean that her co-stars haven’t stopped gabbing about the news. Both Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown also hung out with DeGeneres and made it clear that fiancé Taylor Goldsmith definitely has their approval.
There’s only one thing that, in Ventimiglia’s eyes, could have been improved by Moore and Goldsmith’s big moment. He could have, y’know, been asked about it beforehand. After all, he’s Moore’s husband on the hit drama, so his “approval” may have meant something. (Don’t worry — he was totally joking about it.)
"I didn't get asked for her hand in marriage, like, TV husband, but at the same time, I was okay with it," Ventimiglia said. "Taylor is the kindest soul, and as [for] Mandy, she is the most beautiful of human beings, so the two of them come together and it's right and it's good."
Moore admitted that the cast is a lot like family off-screen as well, and they’re all quite familiar with each other’s significant others.
While many shows have casts that think so highly of each other, there’s something very special about the This Is Us crew — and perhaps their real chemistry is one of the reasons why everyone’s hooked on watching it every week.
While Moore hadn’t publicly announced her engagement on social media, she has posted a ton of behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the upcoming season.
Luckily, fans don’t have to wait much longer to see the Pearson crew back in action. Season 2 of This Is Us will be premiering on NBC tomorrow, September 26th.
