Milo Ventimiglia opened up about his very first kiss, saying, “I was terrified”
In news that literally makes us giddy, This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia opened up about his very first kiss. And awwww forever and always!
In an interview with W Magazine, the actor recounted the long-ago experience — which happened when he was a little baby freshman in high school.
"I remember something just turned in me," he said. "It might have been a friend of mine who was older than me who liked this girl, but he was kind of picking on her. “He’s like, ‘Well, you should just kiss Milo.’ And I was literally, ‘Huh?’
And that was when the magic happened.
“I remember she walked up and grabbed me, and pulled me in and kissed me. And I couldn’t leave the couch after that. I was shocked and terrified and in love and feeling something I’d never really felt before. And it was amazing and I wanted it again.
He also revealed that even though he majorly liked the girl, she actually ended up dating one of his friends. “I think that one definitely put me on my a–,” he said.

And as much as that story makes our hearts ache, we think it’s safe to say that things have since turned out pretty swell for the guy. This Is Us has been renewed for two more full seasons (not to mention, is basically the most popular show of the last decade). Plus, he has played one of the most beloved high school boyfriends of all time (aka JESS!).
So hopefully he’s not still too broken up about this whole thing.
