Millie Bobby Brown said her first sleepover with Maddie Ziegler was a disaster, and we’ve been there girl

We all remember our first sleepover. Between missing the comforts of our own beds, and hoping that we can stay up all night like the rest of the girls, it can be a pretty nerve wracking experience. But seriously, has the fire alarm ever gone off at 3 a.m. and you had to evacuate the premises?!

Well, Millie Bobby Brown said her first sleepover with Maddie Ziegler was a disaster (see: above fire alarm situation), but spoiler: The girls are bestie goals five months later!

For some context, breakout star Millie Bobby Brown appeared on Ellen to talk about some of the more mundane (aka, non-Stranger Things-related parts of her life). Eleven is major goals, but Millie deserves to have a break from the spotlight once in a while, so  we were pretty psyched when she opened up about her newfound friendship with dancer and actress Maddie Ziegler (who you may recognize from Lifetime’s Dance Moms and several Sia videos).

“She is my best friend, actually," Millie told Ellen. "We’re very, very good friends. We’ve only known each other for about five months now, and the first time I met her, I’m such a big fan of Dance Moms and her in general. She’s so inspiring to me. When I met her, I started crying. I had this whole thing going on, and then she private messaged me on Twitter.

“She was like ‘Do you want to come over?’ and I was like ‘Sure!’ So, I go over, and at 3:00 in the morning, the fire alarm comes on. We all had to get rushed out of her apartment building. I’m crying because I’m like ‘My first sleepover’s ruined!’ So, yeah, we’ve been through a lot.

Awww. And also, LOL. We feel you, Millie. That sounds both stressful and unpleasant, and we’re just thanking the celebrity/best friend gods that all turned out okay.

A friendship where you can go to Disney, get goofy, and Facetime each other on the regs is the definition of a keeper! Can you say #FRIENDSHIP GOALS?!
