Millie Bobby Brown showed up at a Maroon 5 concert and rapped onstage
The people of Nashville, Tennessee got more than they bargained for at a September 23rd Maroon 5 concert. When the band performed their latest single, “Girls Like You,” fans waited with bated breath to see if Cardi B would make a surprise appearance to rap her verse. But someone else stepped into Cardi’s shoes and absolutely nailed the rap: Millie Bobby Brown.
Brown, known for playing Eleven on Netflix’s Stranger Things, has flaunted her rapping skills many times before. Who could forget when she spilled Nicki Minaj verse from “Monster” while on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with her ST costars?Or when she later returned to the Tonight Show to rap a recap of Stranger Things Season 1?
So even though fans were expecting Cardi to grace the stage at the Red Pill Blues Tour show, we think they were more than satisfied with her stand-in.
After her surprise performance, Brown uploaded videos to Instagram to share the performance with the world.
"soooo 2nite was insane!!! i love @maroon5 and my dear friend @adamlevine," Brown captioned her set of Instagram videos.
Fans who attended the concert took to Twitter to share their amazement at what went down.
One concert-goer literally couldn’t tell the difference between Brown and Cardi B. That’s saying something.

Listen, Millie, if this whole acting thing doesn’t work out, have you thought about a career in music? Seriously.
