Stranger Things was released on Netflix more than three months ago, but the phenomenon shows no signs of fading. On Halloween weekend, evidence of the Upside Down is everywhere. Frozen waffles are disappearing from store freezers in huge quantities and sightings of Eleven are on the rise. Everyone and their mother and husband and baby wants to be the young protagonist with psychokinetic gifts.
Millie Bobby Brown, the actress who plays Eleven in the Netflix original series, compiled a collage of dozens of her favorite Halloween portrayals.

To further the mind-bending nature of Stranger Things’ multi-dimensional existences, we’d like to point out that all of the people who dressed up as Eleven in her disguise are also vaguely dressed up as E.T. — Eleven’s getaway costume is a nod to the 1982 Spielberg film.
The internet already predicted that Eleven would be the most popular Halloween costume this year, and by the looks of things, the premonition has certainly come to pass.
