Miley Cyrus is joining “The Voice” as a coach next season

Miley Cyrus will be making an appearance on The Voice on Monday as Key Adviser to help kick off the Knockout Rounds. But wait… there’s more. Cyrus has officially confirmed via Twitter that she’ll be joining the show next season as a coach!

“It’s true! I am going to be the newest judge on Season 11 of The Voice @NBCTheVoice #thevoice,” she wrote.

Cyrus will be joining Christina Aguilera, Shakira and Gwen Stefani’s club as The Voice‘s only female coaches. Her addition likely means that Stefani won’t be returning next season as coach. And that means we won’t be able to gush over her adorrrrrable love with Blake Shelton. But we’re stoked to see what 23-year-0ld Cyrus brings to the table.

Cyrus announced her role as Key Adviser back in February. She posted a photo of herself on set, and captioned it, “Lickin @xtina buttonz! @nbcthevoice #keyadviser #season10”

We can’t wait to see her in action as a coach. She’s for sure gonna rock it.
