Miley Cyrus sends toilet selfies to her friends because welps, she’s just being Miley
Well, this story is just weird.
First, Flaming Lips member Wayne Coyne is friends with Miley Cyrus.
Next, Coyne talked with The Guardian about this friendship, and things got weird fast.
“We’ve texted each other every day,” he said.
Totally normal for a 55-year-old and 24-year-old who are not father, daughter. So, that’s not the weird part. No, here it is:
“I’ll say: ‘What are you doing?’ and she’ll send me pictures of herself peeing,” he continued.
“Sometimes it’s 1,000 times a day, sometimes it’s a couple of times a day, but we’re in each other’s lives.”
… and bathrooms, apparently.

The relationship began when Cyrus tweeted at Coyne in January 2014, calling him “one of my favorite artists of all time.”
“I tweeted her back my phone number and said: ‘Text me,’” Coyne told the Guardian.
They’ve since collaborated several times, with Cyrus inviting him and bandmate Steven Drozd to perform on stage with her. Later, The Flaming Lips featured her on their project, With A Little Help From My Fwends, a track-by-track cover album of Sgt Pepper. He and Drozd then co-wrote her album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz which she released for free.
As long as this friendship continues to result in excellent music, we have no problem with it. You two do your thing.
