Miley Cyrus sang “The Climb” for the first time in six years, and we need this
There’s something you need to know about us. Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb” will always make us teary-eyed. Sorry, but it’s true. So when Cyrus sang “The Climb” via Instagram Live for the first time in what feels like forever (aka six years), we got the chills.
Cyrus took to Instagram Live a few days ago to post her first-ever livestream. She then posted a few clips of herself singing on her Instagram feed, and we’ve since fallen in love with her all over again.
"New jams & Oldies but goodies! #IWouldDieForYou #TheClimb#WreckingBall (ps WB went #1 4 years ago today!) All on tonight's (and my first) LIVE stream !!!!" Cyrus captioned her post. "Had the best listening party I could everrrrr ask for! Thank you for sharing a very special night with me! Can't wait to see y'all @ my album release tomorrow in Nashville! Looooove you w all my ❤️!"

First of all, wow. Cyrus’s skills are truly amazing.
Secondly, can you believe that “Wrecking Ball” came out four years ago? It feels like it was only yesterday we watched that music video and were stunned by Cyrus’s bold choice to ride a literal wrecking ball in the nude.
But as she sings in “Younger Now,” “No one stays the same,” and we’re so stoked about her new image and sound. She’s seriously on fire.

Recently, Cyrus has been sharing her musicality with us on her social media, often posting behind-the-scenes studio sessions from Younger Now. Yesterday, she posted clips from “Miss You So Much” and “Bad Mood,” songs off her new album.

Keep the sneak-peeks coming, Miley. And if you want to sing more nostalgic tracks on Instagram Live in the near future, we’d greatly appreciate a warning so we have time to get the tissue box.
