Miley Cyrus Fuels Liam Hemsworth Affair Rumors in New Song ‘Muddy Feet’
The singer is taking shots (again) at her ex-husband in her new album 'Endless Summer Vacation.'
Liam Hemsworth is back in the bullpen following the release of Miley Cyrus’s highly anticipated new album, Endless Summer Vacation.
The actor was first thrust into the spotlight when his ex-wife dropped the official music video for her now-hit single “Flowers” back in January. In the video, Cyrus dons a Katniss Everdeen look-alike gold dress with a messy bun while singing about how she can “love me better than you can.” Fans speculate it’s a very clear dig at the Hunger Games star and the alleged affair rumors around their tumultuous split.
Those theories are now being revisited after fans began decoding the lyrics to track number nine off the record, “Muddy Feet.” In the song, Cyrus recalls the moment she smelled another person’s perfume on her partner’s clothes.
“And you smell like perfume that I didn’t purchase / Now I know why you’ve been closing the curtains / Get the f*** out of my house,” she sings. “You comin’ ’round / With your muddy feet / I’ma ’bout to do something ’bout it.”

“miley did NOT come to play on muddy feet omg,” one fan account tweeted. Another person said, “Can you imagine being liam and listening to muddy feet.”
One fan argues “Muddy Feet” is Cyrus’s “light” version of Beyoncé’s Lemonade album. “this is her dont hurt yourself omg simply LIGHT lemonade,” they tweeted.
Elsewhere in the song, Cyrus sings,”I don’t know who the hell you think you’re messin’ with/Get the f*** out of my house with that s**t/Get the f*** out of my life with that.”

As Hannah Montana fans know, Cyrus and Hemsworth first met while playing each other’s love interests on 2009’s The Last Song. Their relationship has always been a bit of a rollercoaster.
The two dated off and on for the better part of a decade before secretly tying the knot in 2018. A year later they split. In February 2020, their divorce was finalized. Since then, Hemsworth’s alleged infidelity has come to light.
Cyrus has yet to publicly confirm who her Endless Summer Vacation breakup bangers are about, but fans are certain there’s only one answer.
