Miley Cyrus’ dad has fans believing she recently married Liam Hemsworth
Hold up — did Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth just secretly get married? Earlier today, the internet was swirling with rumors of the longtime couple’s nuptials due to an Instagram post from Miley’s dad, Billy Ray. The post, which he captioned, “I’m so happy…you are happy,” is of a camera showing a photo of Miley sporting what looks like a white dress and a huge smile.
The comment section of Billy Ray’s post is filled with those looking to get to the bottom of this mystery and we have to say, we’re sooo curious! Miley’s reflection can be seen in the camera, which means she presumably took the photo and sent it to her dad.

It looks as though the rumors were just that — rumors. Miley’s manager told Us Weekly that the couple have not gotten married and that the photo in question is just a picture of Miley in a white dress. Okay, so they didn’t get married but Miley ~is~ really happy right now.

Miley and Liam, who broke hearts in late 2013 by calling off their engagement, confirmed their renewed relationship status over the summer, after rekindling their relationship in late 2015. They began appearing on each other’s social media accounts, and Cyrus even spoke with Ellen DeGeneres about their relationship in October.

After confirming to DeGeneres that her and Liam are engaged again, Miley said, of the ring,
“This is really weird, because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy … they don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up. So sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Tune. And [Hemsworth’s] kind of like, What’s going on? I am like, This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.
