Miley Cyrus’s bombshell cheating denial is bringing Madonna, Shailene Woodley, and others to her side
Yesterday, August 22nd, Miley Cyrus followed through with her promise to be transparent and opened up about the end of her 10-year relationship with Liam Hemsworth via Twitter and Instagram. The “Slide Away” singer cleared the air of cheating rumors and told fans and followers that since their split, she has now regained a lot of lost happiness and is proud of where she is right now compared to where she was in her past.
“You can say I am a twerking, pot smoking, foul mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar,” Cyrus concluded her Twitter thread.
Since posting her bombshell denial, many celebrities have stepped forward to support Cyrus and bolster her claim that she has nothing to hide. She’s simply speaking her truth and, as Madonna commented, “You are human! A woman who has lived. No need to apologize!”
Cyrus owned up to the mistakes she made during her adolescence and young adult years, including her drug use and fall from Disney Channel grace, and she even owned up to cheating in prior relationships.

Selam Blair, Shailene Woodley, and designer Jeremy Scott all echoed Madonna’s comment. “A WISE WOMAN TAUGHT ME THAT NO ONE STAYS THE SAME,” Scott commented, “AND THAT CHANGE IS A THING YOU CAN COUNT ON.”

YouTube’s Gigi Gorgeous left a kind comment and also uploaded a pic of her and Cyrus together to show her support.
Paris Hilton left Gigi and Cyrus two heart-eyes emojis. We feel the same way.
The Cyrus fam also showed their massive support for their sis.
Although Cyrus and Hemsworth are currently at odds, we’re so happy that Cyrus has spoken out and shown that it’s okay to change, grow up, and reinvent yourself. And it’s even more important to surround yourself with those who love you at every phase of life.
