This is why Mila Kunis doesn’t like acting with Ashton Kutcher anymore

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher go way, way back. In a classic love story, these two met in the late ’90s on the set of That ’70s Show. Kunis played Jackie Burkhart and Kutcher played her love interest, Michael Kelso. At the time, Kunis was only 14 years old and Kutcher was 20, so there was no on-set romance between them. However, when they reconnected years later, there was a spark. And the rest is history. The couple married in 2015 and now have two children.

As much as we’d love to see them reconnect on screen as well, it doesn’t sound like that’s going to happen anytime soon—or possibly ever. ET Online reports that during an upcoming interview with NBC’s Sunday TODAY, Willie Geist asked if Ashton and Mila will ever work together again…but Kunis immediately shot the idea down. Alas, it looks like their days of sharing a screen are over. No more “hangin’ out/down the street” for these two.

“Probably not going to happen,” Kunis said. “I can’t look at him and not be like, ‘What are you doing?’…No, it’s weird.”

Kunis implied that since the couple is so close and know each other so well, it would be too easy to catch each other acting.

"In a scene with him I was like, 'Oh, I see you acting.' Like I can catch it," Kunis continued. "And he looked at me and was like, 'What's that face you make?' And I was like, 'We can't do this. We can't be together in a scene.'"

We guess we’ll never get that true-to-life rom-com starring Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.

Fortunately, Kunis does still want to act with other people. Her new movie, The Spy Who Dumped Me, is now in theaters.
