This girl went in to get her eyebrows microbladed, but things went horribly wrong
The latest brow trend on the beauty block is microblading — don’t worry, it’s not as scary as it sounds. It’s a form of semipermanent brow tattooing that’s available for those of us who weren’t blessed with Brooke Shields brows. When done right, the results of microblading are beautiful. But when done wrong — like the microblading mishap in this photo — well, let’s just say your brows will look less than fleek.
The woman wrote, "I just got them done today is there anyway to remove them or do I have to get them lasered off? I'm completely shattered😭."
Laser removal is an option for this poor victim. But it’s going to set her back much more than she paid to have her brows done in the first place. We’re so sorry.
There is a bright side to this brow-tastrophe. Like we mentioned, microblading is a semipermanent procedure. According to InStyle, microblading only lasts anywhere from 8-18 months, depending on your skin.
So, at least there’s a light at the end of this tunnel, anonymous Twitter microblader!
Don’t let this experience deter you from trying microblading if it’s something you’ve been thinking about. When done professionally, microblading can make you feel more confident about your appearance and help you save time on your makeup routine in the morning.
Heed our advice — do your research before you blade. This is not something you want to DIY or get your friend Stacy to do for you. Get thee to a professional!
