This is the eighth installment in the Fast and the Furious franchise. Can you believe it? After all this time, we are still all in for Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez’s four-wheeled adventures.

You can always tell when a star is super-excited about a movie because they bring just a little extra oomph to the red carpet of their premiere.

Clearly, Michelle Rodriguez is super-duper excited for Fate of the Furious. Because check out what she wore to the New York premiere of the film.

Um, we are obsessed with Rodriguez in all her liquid silver glory. The Fate of the Furious star looks like a straight-up steel Greek goddess in this structured metallic gown.

Honestly, we think the entire look is gangbusters. But if forced to pick favorite aspects, we would say that strapless neckline is super glam. And it’s something we don’t often see structurally, which makes it feel unexpected and special.

And can we just take a second to appreciate Rodriguez’s equal parts super-sleek and super-low-key side braid?

We always like it when there’s a connection between the character the actor is playing and their red carpet look. And this braid totally feels like the high-fashion side of Letty Ortiz. Like, if Rodriguez’s character needed to kick off her shoes, jump into a car, and gun it, she could actually do it in this look.
