This video of Michelle Obama and Stephen Colbert hanging out in a pillow fort is TOO CUTE

Last night, Michelle Obama sat down with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, and as usual, she was fabulous. The First Lady was in town to promote her “Let Girls Learn” initiative that promotes access to education for young women and girls around the world. The First Lady had so many hilarious and charming moments during her interview, but one of our favorites was the adorable skit that Stephen and Michelle performed during the show.

Michelle Obama and Stephen Colbert pretended to be kids hanging out in a pillow fort, and it was too cute for words.

Michelle Obama and Stephen Colbert talked as if they were kids imagining their future, and we could not get enough. Stephen asked Michelle which famous person she would pick to be stranded on a desert island with. Stephen picked the President, but then Michelle picked Beyonce, because duh, and Stephen got jealous.

Stephen: “Can I change to Beyonce?”

Michelle: “No, she’s mine!”

Stephen and Michelle mused about what grown-ups do during the day.

Michelle: “What do they do at work?”

Stephen: “I think they drink wine and watch R-rated movies.”

The pair discuss what they want to do when they grow up.

Stephen made his “dream” to basically be Michelle by describing a lot of her accomplishments.

Stephen: “I wanna go to Harvard, and be a lawyer, and a writer, and an advocate for nutrition in military families and girls’ education.”

But it was Michelle’s answer that made us giggle.

Michelle: “I want to be Joe Biden. Or a pirate.”

Stephen: “Ooo! Or a pirate Joe Biden!”

When Michelle playfully smacked Stephen, we could see him almost crack up.

Stephen: “When I grow up, I’m going to be President, so I can have the Secret Service stop you from doing that.”

Then Stephen and Michelle told us their “one wish,” and it was Michelle’s “Let Girls Learn” platform.

"One, two, three... Improved access to education for the 62 million girls worldwide who are not in school."

Their reaction is too adorable as they are “surprised” that they had the same wish. Michelle calls jinx on Stephen, which is such a fun, throwback way to end the sketch. We totally love how fun and adorable our First Lady can be, while still delivering her message.
