Michael Phelps and Jimmy Fallon play Russian roulete with raw eggs, and it’s actually adorable

Now that the Olympics are well and truly over, champion swimmer Michael Phelps finally has time to get out and have some fun. So naturally, he stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play Russian roulette with some beautifully decorated Olympic-inspired EGGS.

You know this game, right? Where you smash eggs over your head without knowing which are cooked and which are raw? It’s a classic that both Bradley Cooper and Anna Kendrick have participated in!

And now Michael Phelps IS IN THE HOT SEAT. 

It’s safe to say that Phelps looked a little nervous to play in front of a live audience, but hey, who wouldn’t be after hearing this challenge: “Choose an egg and smash it on your head. No put-backs!”

Phelps was adorably nervous before the event, saying, “Oh man, I’m nervous.” Of course, this prompted Fallon to exclaim, “I love seeing Michael Phelps nervous!” And then he laughed, kinda like a wicked witch.

And even though Phelps doesn’t seem to have a real talent for this particular game (no gold medals here), this is essential viewing for obvious reasons (but especially because of their mega-adorable rapport).

It’s too cute seeing this Olympic gold medalist crack under the pressure (ha — get it…so sorry). Still, so much YES.
