A fan slid into Michael B. Jordan’s DMs like a pro — and can now confirm that he smells like Bath and Body Works

What do you do when you find out one of the hottest movie stars in the world is heading to your campus? Take your shot and slide into those DMs, of course.

Everyone, meet your new hero, Temple University junior Sylvia Wilson, who successfully slid into the DMs of one Michael B. Jordan after learning he was going to be filming near her campus. Wilson told BuzzFeed that while she was initially just joking with friends about direct messaging the Black Panther star on Instagram, she decided to go for it — and clearly had a winning approach.

The Temple student messaged Jordan and told him she’d buy him a smoothie while he was on campus. She said,“It was hot, and I didn’t think it’d be appropriate to ask to buy him a drink, so I opted for a smoothie.”

While Jordan didn’t take Wilson up on her smoothie offer, he did invite her and some friends to meet him on the set — and take a photo.

So how did this adorable Instagram meet-cute go? According to Wilson, Jordan was just as amazing as we would expect.

"He was so sweet and nice," Wilson told BuzzFeed. "He was more than happy to take pictures with me and my friends that came with me!"

Wilson revealed that she’s been continuously asked what Jordan smells like, spilling to BuzzFeed, “He smelled like Mahogany Teakwood from Bath & Body Works but better.” Um, duly noted!

Wilson’s bold move quickly went viral on Twitter, and in under two days racked up over 30 thousand retweets and 144 thousand likes. Many were outright impressed with Wilson’s ability to successfully slide into Jordan’s DMs, while others had so many questions about the actor, and some just really wanted the pair to date.

One user even took to Instagram to send Jordan a DM of her own, telling him she was rooting for him and Wilson.
