Because mermaids celebrate independence, too!

Happy 4th, humans!

Today is a very special day. Because the theme of this holiday is an essential right we should all have: freedom.

On July 4th, 1976, the United States celebrated their independence from Britain, but today we think this day means a lot more than that.

We should celebrate our independence in all ways — and the freedom we have (or should have) to say, do, or be what. (Like, if a human wants to become a mermaid, who are we to deny that?)
