People on Twitter are sharing their before-and-after mental health “glow-up” photos, and it’s beautiful

You’ve seen the “classic” glow-up photos on social media, but get ready to be majorly inspired by the most recent version of the viral trend: People are sharing their mental health glow-up photos. The trend started with online personality Quenlin Blackwell, who is extremely candid about her personal struggles with depression, anxiety, and disordered eating. On May 7th, Blackwell provided her followers with an update, posting before-and-after photos that capture just how different she feels now.

"A mental health glo up," Blackwell wrote in tweet. "I’m so proud of myself dude. I literally LOOK healthier."

Blackwell inspired her Twitter followers to post their own mental health glow-ups, thus beginning a feed of sheer positivity.
