Melissa Joan Hart just posted a glorious childhood throwback pic with Drew Barrymore

Melissa Joan Hart is forever the heroine of our ’90s childhoods, thanks to her portrayal of the clever, intelligent, vest-wearing Clarissa Darling of Nickelodeon’s Clarissa Explains It All

Since Clarissa, Hart was — of course — on Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Until 2015, she starred in the ABC sitcom, Melissa and Joey, and she is the lead in the 2016 film, God’s Not Dead 2. Melissa also owns a kids fashion line with her husband called King of Harts.

But what was she doing before she was our high school alt-queen, Clarissa?

Well, her TV debut was in a 1985 ABC Weekend Special called The Adventures of Con Sawyer and Hucklemary Finn, a TV movie about two pre-teens who try to stop a robbery. Melissa played a minor character named Cindy.

Cindy was the younger sister of Con Sawyer, who happened to be played by a little actress named Drew Barrymore.

Earlier today on Instagram, Melissa remembered those early days on set with Drew in a throwback that will make you swoon with nostalgia:

Melissa writes:

"That time Drew Barrymore and I played sisters in an after school movie in Natchez, Mississippi."

We need to watch this movie immediately so we can appreciate these women in the early days of their greatness.
