Melissa Joan Hart just posted an amazing “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” throwback on Instagram
When you’re a witch, it doesn’t need to be Thursday to post a #tbt, so Melissa Joan Hart, who played Sabrina in Sabrina the Teenage Witch, graced our Instagrams last night with an adorable old photo a few days early. Taken on the set during the eighth episode of the second season (“Inna-Gadda-Sabrina”), the photo shows Melissa and co-stars Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick in full 1960s garb after Salem the cat accidentally sends them back in time.
“Peace Out. Nighty night!!!” Melissa wrote to the delight of fans who commented things like, “One of my favorite episodes” and “So nice to see the family together again.”
Looks like Melissa has Sabrina on the brain, and we’re hoping that means the show is one step closer to getting a reunion after Melissa hinted to it back in March.
“They’re throwing around Clarissa and Sabrina ideas,” she told FABLife, referring to her other hit show, Clarissa Explains It All. “It depends on who’s gonna give up rights, who’s gonna do it, how’s it going to be done. It’s a lot of politics and we are nowhere near doing anything.”
Before that, she told the Huffington Post that she’d only consider a Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot if it was “really, really great.” We might be biased, but anything with Melissa and the old gang would be incredible, so we can only hope these happy memories are enough to convince her.
