Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez are coming together for a Christmas movie (again!)

You know that old saying, “Christmas in July”? Well, for some of us, it’s always Christmas. If it were up to us, we’d be watching Hallmark Christmas flicks year-round, with snowflake pajamas on and a cup of hot cocoa in hand. One of our favorites has to be Holiday in Handcuffs, which just happens to star two of the most iconic ’90s actors, Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez. And now? The duo is reuniting for another Christmas movie.

Entitled Christmas Hours, the film is currently being shot in New Britain and Bristol, and we are already counting down the days until we can see it.

The movie, which is reportedly being filmed for Lifetime, drew in fans of both Clarissa Explains It All and Saved By The Bell for a peep at Melissa and Mario, who were filming in front of the city’s toy shop and hobby store. In an interview with NBC Connecticut, New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart said,

"It's just exciting everybody's excited, I mean AC Slater and Clarissa are in the house...Mario Lopez was so sweet, he was walking up to everybody that was there taking pictures for those who wanted it. It just says a lot about him as a person too... [I] actually got to have a couple conversations with Melissa Joan Hart. She’s into politics, who knew and we were talking a little bit about politics."

While we don’t know the premise of the movie, we’re guessing it’s going to take place during the Christmas season, in either the hobby shop or the toy store. Regardless of the plot, we’re just excited to have a movie with Mario and Melissa to add to our never-ending Christmas movie list. Thanks, Santa!
