Feeling nostalgic for the ‘90s lately always? Same. Apparently, one of our favorite shoe brands, Melissa, is, too. The brand behind Possession, the iconic bubblegum-scented jelly shoes of the ’90s, is bringing back the style—and this time, it’s vegan-friendly!

“It all began back in the cultural explosion that was taking place at the time,” Melissa explained on its website. “The internet had just come out, rock was leaning towards grunge, and video games seemed so advanced. While the world was transforming, Possession was already winning over hearts around the world.”

Melissa announced the great news earlier this week, writing, “Possession have been officially registered as vegan-friendly by The Vegan Society, the worlds first vegan society.” The society, which was founded in 1944, confirms that Possession’s development and manufacturing process have zero animal involvement.
