Mel B shared a nude selfie to encourage body positivity and we’re feelin’ it
Honestly, we can’t find a single issue with Mel B sharing nude pictures on Instagram because she’s clearly the epitome of bawdy goals, but the naked selfie the former Spice Girl recently shared goes beyond mere fitness inspiration. According to Perez Hilton, the au naturel pic is yet another example of Mel B showing girl power by encouraging women to be body positive and we 100 percent approve of her message.
In the photo, a glammed up Mel B can be seen admiring her naked reflection in a mirror (as she should!). The America’s Got Talent host captioned the sultry shot:
"As a women I Embrace my flaws and I'm comfortable in my own skin,might as well im gonna be in it for the rest of my life,I'm the kinda girl that has absolutely no desire to fit in,ladies we gotta love the skin we are in#feelinmyself."
YAS, Mel. Even though we couldn’t find her flaws with a microscope (srsly, we are in awe of how she maintains such a rockin’ bod after having three children), we all know that being body positive takes constant effort because every woman, regardless of fitness levels, knows how easy is it to slip into a negative pattern of hating on yourself.
As it stands, women are constantly bombarded with messages, imagery and other people who constantly remind us of everything that’s wrong with our bodies, so we applaud Mel B and other women like her who encourage us to love our bodies, with no apologies.
