It’s only been a few hours since the couple announced their engagement, but Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have already made their first public appearance as a newly engaged couple, and we already cannot stop obsessing over what Markle wore for her big moment.

The actress and her new fiancé made their first public appearance as an engaged couple at The Sunken Gardens at Kensington Palace on Monday, November 27th, stepping out for a brief interview with reporters. Though it was a bit of a dreary autumn day in London, Markle made a stunning style statement by pairing a sleek all-white trench coat with a hunter green dress, and topped her look off with taupe strappy pumps — plus that stunning new bling on her left ring finger.

We can’t stop swooning over Markle’s trench coat, which she wore belted across her waist. Markle paid homage to her adopted hometown of Toronto, where she spent several years filming the USA drama Suits, by wearing a coat designed by Canadian brand Line the Label.

Immediately after her coat brand was announced, Line the Label’s site reportedly crashed, with fashionistas everywhere trying to figure out how they could get their hands on the classic trench.
