Everyone on Twitter is standing by Meghan Markle after a heartbreaking video
In an upcoming ITV documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle expressed how the negative press she has received since marrying into the royal family has taken a toll on her mental health, especially now that her first child, Archie, has arrived. Now, supporters on Twitter are standing with Markle and talking about how heinously she’s been treated by the British tabloids in the past year.
“Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging,” Markle told ITV’s Tom Bradby in a clip from the documentary, which airs Sunday, October 20th. “And then when you have a newborn, you know, and especially as a woman, it’s a lot.”
"So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed," she said of the gossip being spread about her in the press, alluding to the fact that it's been difficult to deal with emotionally. "Also thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes."
When Bradby asked Markle if it was fair for him to assume that she isn’t okay, she responded, “Yes.”
ITV's @tombradby spoke to Meghan as he gained exclusive access to the royal couple as they toured Africa for 10 days with their son Archie.

At the beginning of the month, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially filed a lawsuit against a British tabloid that illegally published a private letter from Markle to her father, written before their May 2018 wedding.
Harry compared the tabloids’ treatment of his wife to that of his late mother, Princess Diana.
Harry wrote in an official statement, “I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditized to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces.”
Meghan we love you! So sorry it was so bad 💗

#MeghanMarkle encouraged women and girls to know their worth. I truly hope that the #DuchessOfSussex knows *her* worth. It is immeasurable.

While heavily pregnant, look how they treated her. Compare it to Kate? Why hasn't the royal family come out against racism? #WeLoveYouMeghan #WeLoveYouMeghan pic.twitter.com/misxt30I3h
