Meghan Markle just stepped out wearing these super-affordable shoes

It turns out that even a duchess can get behind affordable footwear. Meghan Markle made a solo visit to an art studio in Johannesburg today, September 30th, as part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s ongoing South African tour. Markle talked with local artists and vendors at Victoria Yards, a collaborative regeneration project which brought design studios, art galleries, and a popular food market to the once-abandoned location, and did so wearing a pair of super-affordable slingbacks that you’re definitely going to want to add to your wardrobe, if you don’t have them already.

Markle sported The Editor Slingback from Everlane in the color Persimmon Suede, a reddish-orange that popped perfectly against her dark-blue Aritzia shirt dress—yet another affordable wardrobe staple.

Not only is Markle wearing reasonably-priced fashion pieces, but she’s making a statement about ethical consumption as well. Both Everlane and Aritzia are brands dedicated to doing right by their employees and the planet, having both adopted transparency when it comes to their factories and materials used.

Check out The Editor Slingback, which is available in Markle’s preferred Persimmon Suede, as well as Rosewood, Black, and Mustard.
