Meghan Markle and Prince’s Harry’s secret matchmaker has been revealed, and can we be set up next?

When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first started dating, outlets reported that they met through a mutual friend, which is already bananas because, like, who has mutual friends with the British royal family? The couple has been candid about meeting on a blind date, and now we know which good friend brought them together.

E! News reports that the friend who played secret matchmaker to the couple is a woman by the name of Violet von Westenholz, who has known Harry since childhood because her dad is a baron and friends with Prince Charles. Markle and Westenholz met through “Violet’s PR work with the fashion house Ralph Lauren” (Westenholz is their PR Director) and apparently Markle had also been hanging out in the “London social scene for a while.” (!!!)

According to E!’s royal source, “Harry was having a really hard time finding anyone. It’s hard enough finding someone new to date. He can hardly go on Tinder or a dating app like normal people, but to meet someone that you actually connect with, that was proving to be almost impossible.”

Harry reportedly told his closest friends about his dating woes, so when their mutual pal met Markle, Westenholz thought she might be “the perfect girl for him.” The couple was then set up on their blind date over the summer of 2016.

First of all, this all needs to be in the upcoming Lifetime movie about Markle and Harry’s romance — because we want to know everything about this first date. We know some small details that Prince Harry revealed, including that on their inaugural date, he walked in, saw Meghan, and thought “I am really going to have to up my game here.” (Looks like he did.)

Since getting together, the source adds that it has been smooth sailing for the engaged couple.

"Meghan really does come first for him. He's honestly absolutely smitten," E! reports. "His friends love her too; she's been a really good fit into the group."

Isn’t it lovely when thrusting your two friends together on a blind date actually works out?
