Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wax figures in ugly Christmas sweaters will haunt your holiday dreams
Meghan Markle can pull off any look, so it’s no surprise that her wax figure can, too. Madame Tussauds in Berlin, Germany unveiled live wax figures (meaning actors wearing wax masks in the likeness of royals) of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on December 11th, and they donned everyone’s favorite unfavorite holiday garment: ugly Christmas sweaters. The figures, as you can imagine, are festively haunting—Markle’s wax figure even features her baby bump.
Check out photos of the festive live wax figures below.
Markle’s wax mask-wearing doppelgänger sported a grey pullover adorned with white snowflakes and the bottom half of an elf, while husband Prince Harry wore a blue knit with white reindeers.
Is this how they look placing presents under the tree for Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte?
This is probably exactly how Meghan looks relaxing on a chair in Kensington Palace.
These almost outdo those life-size cakes of the royal duo.
Madame Tussauds’ merry unveiling comes a day after Markle made a surprise appearance at the British Fashion Awards on December 10th. The Duchess of Sussex presented the British Designer of the Year Womenswear Award to Givenchy artistic director Clare Waight Keller. Waight Keller, as you probably remember, designed Markle’s wedding dress for her royal nuptials to Prince Harry in May. Markle stunned in a black Givenchy off-shoulder dress at the event.
We’re just glad she didn’t show up to the awards show in an ugly Christmas sweater.
