Meghan Markle shared a never-before-seen photo of Baby Archie in her birthday tribute to Prince Harry
To celebrate Prince Harry‘s 35th birthday, Meghan Markle shared a new photo of their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor—and it’s obviously adorable. She also wrote a sweet message for her husband on the couple’s official Instagram account, calling him the “most amazing dad to our son.”
The birthday tribute, which she posted on Sunday, September 15th, was accompanied by a collage of nine photos from important moments in the Duke’s life. The photos included one with his late mother Princess Diana, as well as others with brother Prince William and grandfather Prince Philip, and another of him and Markle sharing their first kiss at their royal wedding last year.
However, it was the never-before-seen image of baby Archie that immediately caught everyone’s eye. The candid black-and-white snap shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sharing a sweet moment at his christening this past July.
In it, Prince Harry is seen crouching down to look at his son while a smiling Markle holds her baby’s hand.

…and here’s a closer look at the new pic:
Markle and Prince Harry had previously shared two photos from baby Archie’s christening: one featuring the royal family and the duchess’ mother, Doria, and another that closely resembles the unseen pic Markle shared.
The pair will soon be heading to South Africa on their first-ever trip as a family—and we’re expecting a ton more photos of baby Archie ASAP.
