Megan Thee Stallion has new rainbow hair in celebration of Pride Month
It’s Pride Month, and Megan Thee Stallion just took rainbow hair to another level. The “Savage” rapper put a technicolor twist on the trend in celebration of Pride, showing off her new look at the All Black Lives Matter protests in Hollywood over the weekend. The rally aimed to shine a light on the Black LGBTQ+ community, whose members are often disproportionately impacted by anti-Black racism, oppression, violence, and police brutality.
Megan showed off her Pride-inspired rainbow hair in a series of photos on June 14th, the day of the All Black Lives Matter protest.
She noted in her caption, “Today was a good day,” sharing a couple of snaps from her time at the event as she posed with her pals: stylist Kellon Deryck, ballroom and drag performer (and Beyoncé tribute artist) Miss Shalae, and celebrity stylist EJ King.

Deryck also shared Megan’s colorful new look in honor of the rally and broke down all of the products he used. According to his Instagram, the LA-based stylist used a mix of dyes from celebrity colorist Guy Tang’s #Mydentity collection, including Purple Raven, Mint of Steel, Cosmic Coral, Phoenix Fire, and Sheer Power. Deryck revealed that it was the first time he tried out this specific combination of shades, and he truly nailed the spirit of Pride.

As for the event, which took place in the heart of Hollywood, the organizers shared that it was “in direct response to racial injustice, systemic racism, and all forms of oppression,” adding, “The LGBTQ+ community must extend its support to unite against oppression, police brutality, racism, transphobia, and the many other disparities disproportionately impacting the Black community.”
Celebs like Tiffany Haddish and Common also participated in the protest, as ET reported, serving as a powerful reminder that all Black lives matter and that Pride has to be intersectional.
