Nick Offerman’s love for Megan Mullally is exactly what you need to get you through all the recent celeb breakups

We all get emotionally invested in celebrity couples, and we’ve all had our hearts broken as a result (Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, and John Cena and Nikki Bella, being recent examples). Fortunately, Megan Mullally talking about her love with Nick Offerman in the latest issue of People will help you recover from all those recent celeb splits. Seriously, her aww-inspiring quotes about the hubs will melt your heart faster than Ron Swanson melted down Ann’s light fixtures to make wedding rings for Ben and Leslie.

So grab your smelling salts, and make sure you have a fainting couch ready, because you will absolutely pass out when you read about the love between Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman.

On the subject of makeup, for instance, Megan Mullally considers herself “too lazy” to ever wear it.

Says the actress, “[Offerman] tells me every minute that I’m the most beautiful, sexy, incredible woman in the world, which couldn’t possibly be true, but it’s nice. He always prefers me without makeup, you know.” *Swoon*

Oh, and even though they’re Hollywood A-listers, amazing performers, and even touring musicians, they both like to keep it chill. Mullally says “a flannel shirt and a pair of jeans” is Offerman’s favorite outfit of hers. Okay, extremely swoon.

Mullally also mentioned that in her youth, she felt pressure from those around her to appear — and treat her appearance — in certain ways. It took her a long time to feel comfortable in her own skin, literally, and now, she loves embracing who she is. And Offerman does, too. (Excuse me, but my keyboard just fried from all of the tears I cried into it.)

“I hope that everybody could just embrace everything about themselves physically and just feel really great about yourself, from the switch, because later it’ll make for such an easier life,” Mullally added. “I didn’t get there quite that fast but I’m glad I got there at least.”

Wise words. And love is real, after all.
