Meet the real-life Elsa. She’s adorbs.
Over Halloween weekend, there were plenty of very cute versions of characters from Frozen. (I know I definitely spotted some on my very own block.) Which makes sense, since Frozen characters were undoubtedly the most popular costumes of the 2014 Halloween season, with online searches for Elsa, Anna, and Olaf reaching 1.2 million from September 1 to October 26, according to FOX13. But 13-year-old Audra Miller may have taken the cake in the most-adorable-Elsa category.
Audra, an 8th grader at Wattsburg Middle School in Pennsylvania, has been dressing up as Princess Elsa and singing the hit song, “Let It Go” with some remarkable talent. And last Friday, Miller surprised the kids of Asbury Elementary School by giving them a very special Frozen performance. She showed up after their Halloween parade to belt out “Let It Go,” to the absolute delight of the students there (who think she’s the real Elsa).
“Their faces are so priceless when they see me,” Miller told a local television network. “It’s so amazing to see how they react.” It also doesn’t hurt that half of the little girls in the classroom are also dressed as Elsa, and sweetly gather around her after the performance in a giant princess circle.
And this isn’t Miller’s first performance as the beloved Frozen character. For the past few months, she’s done 25-50 Elsa shows and has no plans on slowing down. She also sings in her school band and her goal is to become a professional performer when she grows up.
You go, Audra! You’re off to an amazing start.
